Civil Aviation Authority to speak at ABTA’s Package Travel Regulations event

David Bourne, Head of Regulation and Governance at the Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed he will speak at ABTA's upcoming Package Travel Regulations: Preparing for 2019 Conference.

The event will be moderated by ABTA’s Director of Legal Affairs, Simon Bunce. John de Vial, Director of Financial Protection and Financial Services at ABTA will be discussing financial protection matters. John and Simon will be on hand to answer questions about issues arising under the new Regulations.

Fieldfisher’s Rhys Griffiths will look at the new definitions and how to get the paperwork right while Travlaw’s Stephen Mason will cover customer rights and organiser’s obligations and future reforms coming in 2019. K&L Gates’ Neil Baylis will give an update on brexit planning and the impact on commercial and consumer contracts.

We will hear from two Members about their PTR journeys, Kirsteen Vickerstaff from On The Beach and Richard Simpson from the Midcounties Co-operative.
