Event details

Hear from the CAA, ABTA, industry and legal experts about the new Package Travel Regulations.

ABTA’s timely event will provide an update on the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations, helping businesses to prepare ahead of the 2019 sales period. The new regulations came into force on 1 July 2018. Four months on, the event is a chance for ABTA Members and the wider travel industry to take stock, question the experts and raise any common issues they are facing. Hear how businesses are managing their new liabilities, as a travel agent, package organiser and when selling Linked Travel Arrangements or business travel. There will be guidance for tour operators, OTAs, travel agents and TMCs.

Attend to benchmark and ensure your compliance under the new regulations. Understand the opportunities that the new PTRs provide for your travel business and how you can use the regulations to boost consumer confidence. Get an overview of the challenges that may arise and have your outstanding questions answered.

There is a range of support and guidance available on the Member Zone, and PTR will be a hot topic at ABTA's Regional Business Meetings, which are free-to-attend for Members and Partners. This one-day training seminar is for those who require additional practical guidance.
