Responsible tourism is about creating better places to live as well as to visit. Whilst tourism is a force for good, tourism must be managed well to ensure destinations and communities benefit. Collaboration between all stakeholders, including industry, communities, national and local authorities and the third sector is essential to sustainable tourism development. By working together, we can ensure local people benefit from tourism, tourism infrastructure is planned and managed and nature, biodiversity and culture are protected.
