ABTA has been a trusted travel brand for 70 years, offering advice and guidance to the travelling public, and leading the travel industry in supporting high service standards.

Who we are

ABTA is the UK’s largest travel association, representing travel agents and tour operators that sell £38 billion of holidays and other travel arrangements each year.

ABTA Code of Conduct

ABTA's Code of Conduct aims to ensure that ABTA Members maintain high standards and it allows you to travel with confidence. It is regularly updated to recognise the changing nature of the travel industry and is often cited by other industries as a role model to follow.

Governance and Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is responsible for setting direction, providing an extra level of governance and giving our executive team support and advice.

Our people

ABTA has a team of around 80 people, headed up by our Senior Leadership Team who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the business.

ABTA LifeLine

ABTA LifeLine is ABTA’s charitable trust. Previously called the ABTA Benevolent Fund, it was set up to help people in the travel industry when they need it the most.

FTO

FTO is a brand recognised in many countries that Members operate to. Following the merger of the FTO into ABTA, the work of the FTO has become integral to the overall ABTA plan.
