Kuoni has been busy reducing plastic waste through a new Stay Beautiful campaign. They have been trialling refillable water bottles with an inbuilt filter on staff educationals and gauging customer interest in-store. Since an audit of plastic use in the café at Kuoni headquarters, all plastic bottles and packaging have been removed, and throughout the company brochures and documents are sent out in 100% compostable packaging.
A beach clean has also taken place at Shangri-La’s Hambantota Golf Resort & Spa in Sri Lanka as part of Kuoni’s TTG Top 50 agents trip. These type of initiatives will continue to be included on educational trips where the opportunity presents itself.
