Information for customers affected by British Airways strike action

ABTA is aware the scheduled strike action by British Airways pilots is going ahead today, Monday 9 and tomorrow, Tuesday 10 September. If your flight has been cancelled due to the action you should have already received notification from the airline and will be entitled to a replacement flight or a full refund. Contact British Airways for more information on this.

If you are booked on a package holiday and are unable to travel, talk to your tour operator who may be able to offer you alternative arrangements. If no alternatives are available, you will be entitled to a refund of the package price. If you have made your own arrangements and your flight is cancelled you may well be liable for cancellation charges for unused services such as accommodation and car hire. This may be covered by your travel insurance but this is not always the case.
