Civil Aviation Authority to speak at ABTA seminar about the latest changes to the ATOL rules 

 

Ben White and Linda Bell, Lead Compliance for the Civil Aviation Authority will discuss the latest changes to the ATOL rules. ABTA’s senior solicitor, Paula Macfarlane and Farina Azam from Travlaw will share practical guidance on how to meet the new information requirements for online, telephone and in-store sales, issue the correct paperwork and ensure you are getting contracts right.
 

Travlaw’s legal experts, Stephen Mason and Matt Gatenby will look at how organiser’s obligations have changed, including how to handle pre-departure booking changes and deal with service issues and customer complaints in resort. Hear from TUI’s Head of Commercial Legal Support, Hilary Kett on the processes, systems and procedures that they have put in place.

The seminar will be moderated by ABTA’s Director of Legal Affairs, Simon Bunce. John de Vial, ABTA’s Director of Financial Protection and Financial Services will be on hand to discuss financial protection and reporting matters, alongside Martin Alcock, from the Travel Trade Consultancy.
 

This one-day training seminar is for those who require in-depth practical guidance on how to sell holidays under the new Package Travel Regulations.
