See you at the Business Travel Show

We are looking forward to catching up with Members and Partners at the Business Travel Show next week.

We know that the confidence the ABTA brand brings to leisure and business travellers is a big priority for Members. Our latest research among companies whose staff travel on business finds that the overwhelming majority of them – 82% - say ABTA Membership is important or very important when selecting a travel management company.

If you are at the Business Travel Show next week, come and say hello, we’ll be on stand B2304 and available to discuss the support we provide across a range of important issues including helping travel businesses prepare for Brexit as well as our latest guidance notes.

We’ll also be sharing copies of our updated brochure on the benefits of booking business travel through an ABTA Member with corporate travel buyers and other delegates at the event, which highlights the high standard of service provided by ABTA Members, ABTA’s role in leading responsible tourism and the support we provide during a crisis.

Talking of guidance, we’re keen to remind Members that ABTA has guidance on new changes to tax administration being introduced by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), which requires most UK companies to maintain their accounts information in a digital format and file VAT returns digitally from 1 April 2019. To help Members adapt to the Making Tax Digital changes we have two guidance notes, which were circulated last year, and a new page in the Member Zone which identifies ABTA Partners who can provide further help with your preparations.
