There are currently hurricanes and storms affecting parts of the US, Caribbean and Asia. ABTA has provided advice to customers who may be in those areas at the moment, or due to travel in the coming days.

Travelling in affected areas

If you are currently on holiday or travelling in one of the areas affected, you should monitor news reports and follow any advice or instructions issued by the local authorities, your travel company or accommodation provider.

If you are still to travel

If you have not yet travelled, and are travelling with a tour operator, your travel company will contact you if your plans are affected.

If you have booked your travel plans independently, then you should look for any updates from your airline and check to see if you accommodation and any other travel arrangements are affected.
