The current high temperatures in the South East are affecting the air conditioning on board the Eurotunnel shuttles departing from Folkestone which is causing delays.

Customers due to travel by Eurotunnel are advised to monitor the situation. 

As a precaution, customers are advised to carry essential items such as water and refreshments, medication, baby formula, nappies etc and items such as books or games to keep their children occupied in their hand luggage.

Eurotunnel is advising that, during the busy summer months of July and August, customers should check-in on time for their booked departure no earlier than 2 hours and no later than 45 minutes before.
