LifeLine winter support for those in need

This weekend the clocks go back one hour signalling the start of colder, darker days and the approach of winter. For many in the industry this can be a difficult time with increased heating and lighting costs and for some made even harder with the cost of living crisis.

ABTA LifeLine is there for people at the hardest times in their lives – whether that’s financial assistance, providing vital debt advice, or counselling support after a bereavement or relationship breakdown. The charity provides timely support to help people get through these difficult moments, and many more.

ABTA LifeLine is keenly aware of the need to provide support for members of the travel industry and their families throughout the winter months and that’s why it is providing energy, food, and warm clothing vouchers as part of its Wintertime Assistance Package, which has just been launched.

There are many people that still do not know that ABTA LifeLine is a benefit of being an ABTA member. So, please spread the word in your organisation about the help LifeLine can provide so as to reach those people who might benefit.

Next week at The Travel Convention in Turkey, delegates will hear about how they can best support LifeLine so that together we can make a meaningful difference to the lives of people who work in our travel community.
