Travel Marketing Conference – tackling marketing challenges and innovations

ABTA's Travel Marketing conference returns on Wednesday 17 - Thursday 18 May at News UK's central London office. Designed for advanced level travel marketing professionals, ABTA's flagship Travel Marketing event combines inspirational case studies, thought-provoking keynotes and interactive panel discussions, to help inform and improve marketing strategies.

The event will be moderated by ABTA's Director of Communications, Graeme Buck on day one, and Kuoni's former Marketing Director, Dean Harvey on day two. They'll be joined by a host of senior marketing experts from the travel industry including: TUI, easyJet holidays, TikTok, The Times, Pinterest UK, Sky Media, News UK and more. Attendees can expect to discover solutions to the latest challenges being faced, including:

  • The impact of global events on consumer behaviour
  • What's next for digital marketing
  • Ensuring you're present at every point of your customer journey
  • Tech innovations in travel marketing
  • Maximising paid media spend

Industry leaders will discuss and debate different marketing trends and strategies, including which channels they use and why. Peers will demonstrate how to market with people in mind, including how to feed the 'human' through marketing strategies, website and UX taking into account the role of communities and EDI in campaigns. They will provide a deep dive into your employer brand, how the relationship between HR and marketing has developed, and crucially demonstrate how to attract top talent.

Former Kuoni Marketing Director, Dean Harvey, will be leading an important innovative tech solutions for modern marketers session that explores the role AI will play, including how to use content and SEO to maximise your brand, and email automation.

Finally, the agenda has been curated to ensure there are several opportunities to discuss, debate, network and build industry connections with senior marketing peers within the travel industry, including a networking drinks on day one.
