ABTA’s new Destination Strategy and Services Team at WTM

ABTA’s Destination Strategy and Services team, which has been formed from a key area of work of the Federation of Tour Operators (FTO), will have a high profile at this year’s World Travel Market.

Nikki White, who has recently been appointed as ABTA’s Head of Destination Strategy and Services, and Angie Hills, Destination Services Manager will meet with over 30 destinations during WTM to talk face to face with Ministers of Tourism, Directors of Tourist Offices and key personnel about any issues that have affected the delivery of holidays in those destinations over the past 12 months. Key items include health and safety initiatives, crisis management and sustainability developments. 

Nikki White said: “World Travel Market is a great opportunity for us to meet decision makers from all our key destinations on a face-to-face basis in a short period of time, so it is an incredibly important time in our calendar.”
