#Restartingtravel social media update – send us your photos

ABTA has been sharing information to customers about how their travel experience might be different.

ABTA’s consumer facing social media channels have been informing customers on how they can travel with confidence. For example, posts have been highlighting destinations travellers can visit without needing to self-isolate on their return and how travel companies are operating in this new and unique environment. Below you can see some of ABTA’s #Restartingtravel social media posts highlighting these examples.

If you would like to be featured as one of ABTA’s #Restartingtravel social media posts, to reach consumers, find out more below.

ABTA featured Cyprus as a destination to visit, but advised travellers must present a negative Covid-19 test, taken within the last 72 hours but children under 12 are exempt.

ABTA used Traveltime World's initiative, to host face-to-face appointments with customers outside, to encourage travellers to get in touch with their local independent travel agent. The post encourages people to enquire about booking an appointment, to avoid any queues, and also don’t forget your face mask to enter the shop and some hand sanitizer.

How to get involved:

We want to show customers how they can travel with confidence, through real life examples with ABTA Members to destinations you can take them to. Pictures could be tips and information on visiting your shop, taking virtual bookings, staff visiting hotels and going on excursions with new safety measures.

We have a few more posts scheduled over the next couple of weeks of ABTA Member's new travel experiences, so keep a look out.
