He will look at the changing landscape of the PR industry, addressing some of the key areas that have come under discussion recently including the impact of digital on PR and the changing role of the PR professional in the era of fake news and citizen journalism.

Lisa Minot, Travel Editor of The Sun, will join a panel of speakers including ABTA and the PRCA to discuss the challenges of meeting the demand for authenticity and the role that PR and media play in building consumer trust, specifically within the travel industry.

The day will be moderated by ABTA’s Director of Brand and Business Development, Victoria Bacon, who will steer the conversation around both proactive and reactive strategies in front of an audience of senior PR and communications professionals from within the travel industry.

They will be joined by a host of senior industry representatives, all sharing case studies from within their businesses, including MSC Cruises, dnata, Heathrow Airport and Travelzoo.

David Sanders, Director of UK PR and Media will also join the line-up of speakers alongside the producer of ‘Cruising with Jane McDonald’, Fi Cotter Craig, to share their strategies around successful broadcast partnerships.
