In just over three months’ time, we’ll once again be gathering industry colleagues together for our annual Travel Convention, which is taking place in Bodrum, Türkiye, from 30 October to 1 November.
 
Each year, our Convention provides a vital forum for making new connections, debating the biggest issues facing our sector, and taking inspiration from a brilliant line-up of speakers – all at the heart of one of the UK travel industry’s most important destinations.

The Travel Convention has long been recognised as the UK travel industry’s foremost event, and this year, some of the big topics we’ll be tackling under our theme ‘unleashing new potential’ are the transformative power that developments in artificial intelligence are set to bring to our sector; covering strategies for attracting and retaining talent; and how we can continue to drive forward the sustainability agenda.

The expert speakers who will be delivering our thought-provoking business sessions include easyJet holidays’ CEO, Garry Wilson, who will be speaking to our overall theme, senior innovation editor at WIRED, Jeremy White, who will cover how new tech and AI can be successfully harnessed by the travel industry, and economic experts from PwC who will be revealing the latest insights into holidaymakers’ spending intentions for next year.

A busy, wider agenda of events and excursions across the three-day programme will help to foster those all-important conversations with our colleagues and to showcase the best of Bodrum and its surrounding areas – something which is particularly timely this year as Türkiye rebuilds from the devastating earthquake that struck the east of the country back in February.
