ABTA is delighted to announce that Peter Long, Chief Executive of TUI Plc, will interview long standing friend and industry colleague Miguel Fluxa, Executive Chairman of Grupo Iberostar, on stage at The Travel Convention in Palma. Both men have experience in travel and tourism at the highest managerial and entrepreneurial levels.

A visionary entrepreneur, Miguel entered the travel industry when he developed a group of travel agencies in the early 60s. From the company's headquarters in Mallorca, Mr Fluxa now oversees the operations of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts - an international hotel chain with more than 100 resorts around the world - as well as the Group's other divisions: Iberostate Golf, Villas and Condos and Iberoservice.

Miguel and Peter have shared many game changing chapters in travel over the years. In this session we'll hear about Miguel's life in travel; their past experiences; the close relationship between tour operators and hoteliers and how Miguel sees the future developing for the hospitality and travel sectors.
