With Truth, Trust and the Future of the Expert as its theme, this year’s Travel Convention will see 500 ABTA Members, Partners and the wider industry come together in Seville from 8 -10 October 2018 for a business programme that will explore the cornerstones of the future relationship between the travel industry and the traveller. 

The Convention will also provide ample time for delegates to network constructively with their peers. Social activities include the Convention Golf Tournament, which will take place at the renowned Club Zaudin Golf Sevilla; the annual Convention Football Match; and ‘Ride for Your LifeLine’ sponsored by Avis, a fundraising event in aid of ABTA’s charitable trust. Delegates will also be able to sign up for a complimentary walking tour designed to showcase the cultural and natural heritage of Andalusia’s capital.

The Convention will also feature two lunches, late night Convention bars and two evening parties, where delegates will be hosted by the Convention’s destination partners. The Opening Ceremony and Welcome Party will be held in Seville’s Casino de la Exposición on the Monday evening and begin with an operatic performance, after which delegates will be treated to an Andalusian buffet of local delicacies.

Tuesday evening will see delegates enjoy The Party in the Province, which will take place at the Cortijo Torre de la Reina (Tower of the Queen).  The event will begin with a feria-themed cocktail reception in the venue’s gardens before delegates move into the Cortijo for an evening meal featuring traditional Spanish fayre, a flamenco show and lively ‘Sevillanas’ folk music playing throughout.
