ABTA has worked closely with People 1st, the Sector Skills Council who represent the travel industry, on the development of professional standards for apprenticeships. Nominations are now open for the People 1st Apprenticeship Awards 2014/2015.

The awards will celebrate the achievements of apprentices, employers, providers and mentors in the hospitality, passenger transport, retail and travel industries.

Closing date for entry is Friday 19 December 2014. The winners will be announced at an exclusive event at the House of Commons in London on 26 February 2015.
