Martin Randall joins the ABTA Board

ABTA, the Travel Association, announces today that Martin Randall, Chief Executive of Martin Randall Travel, has been appointed to the ABTA Board. Randall will represent principal Members with a turnover of less than £50 million.

ABTA Chief Executive, Mark Tanzer said: “On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am delighted to welcome Martin to the ABTA Board. He brings with him more than 30 years industry experience and knowledge and his expertise in the specialist tour operator area will be a real asset to the Association.”

Martin Randall entered the travel industry in 1979 and founded Martin Randall Ltd in 1988, which has since grown to become the UK’s leading provider of specialist cultural tours.

Commenting on his appointment, Randall said: “I’m delighted to be joining the ABTA Board and am honoured and humbled as a specialist operator to be contributing to the work of this great organisation.”
