ABTA has been informed that Holidays 4 UK Ltd (ABTA no. W5306) trading from Unit 4 Gordon Mews, Gordon Close, Portslade, West Sussex, BN41 1HU has ceased trading from 3 August 2011 and is unable to meet its liabilities. 

The company sold package holidays that included flights and made flight only sales under their ATOL (number 4097).  Any claims arising from this failure will be handled by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

The company also used the following trading names: Aegean Flights and Holidays 4U.

Holidays 4U specialised in holidays to Turkey. It is understood there are 12,800 passengers currently on holiday and there are 20,000 forward bookings.

Advice to Passengers

Customers currently on holiday

Customers who are currently abroad on a package holiday that included a flight, or have just a flight, booked with Holidays4U Ltd will be able to continue their holiday as planned.

Any customers experiencing difficultly while on holiday should contact the CAA on 0044 (0) 161 444 5810.

Customers due to travel 

Please note all holiday bookings are now cancelled. Customers who are due to travel are advised to contact their travel agent in the first instance who will be able to provide assistance and possibly book an alternative holiday.
