Diamond Shortbreak Holidays

We regret that Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Limited has ceased trading on 15 March 2017.

Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Limited, trading as Diamond Holidays, Diamond Rail Holidays and The River Cruise Line, was a Member of ABTA.

If you have booked a holiday with Diamond Holidays, Diamond Rail Holidays and The River Cruise Line, we regret that all future bookings have been cancelled and will not be going ahead.  

We will need to give you some specific advice depending on the type of booking that you have made. It is very important that you closely follow this advice.

Information for customers that booked through a travel agent

If you made your booking through an ABTA travel agent then you will need to contact your agent for advice and guidance.  

Information for customers that booked directly with Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Limited

Holidays that include a flight

If your holiday included a flight – you will have received an ATOL certificate at the time of booking, this would have been either posted to you, or emailed to you. Or if you booked your holiday in a travel agency, you would have had the ATOL certificate handed to you with your paperwork.

Your ATOL Certificate will say ’Package sale’ in the bottom right hand corner.

If this is the case, you need to contact the CAA directly. Please visit the CAA website for more information.

Other types of holiday or travel arrangements

If you have booked another type of holiday with Diamond Shortbreak Holidays and you paid by credit or debit card, you should be able to claim through your credit card company or bank.  

Your credit card company or bank will ask you for a referral letter from ABTA, so to help you with your claim, you can download the appropriate letter below.

If all or part of your payment was made using a debit card please download the debit card letter.

If you paid by credit card please download the credit card letter.

If you paid Diamond Shortbreak Holidays by any other means, you can make a claim online
