ABTA has been working with the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) to offer counter terrorism awareness training to ABTA Members.    

An introduction to the NaCTSO training programme has been rolled out across the country at the latest round of Regional Meetings.  

As part of phase two of the roll out, the ABTA Destinations team, who have been trained by NaCTSO, will deliver a number of more in-depth training seminars to share both the Project Griffin and International Counter Terrorism modules with Members.  

Participants in the phase two training will receive key presentation material to enable them to cascade the training messages into their organisations and to their suppliers overseas.

The first two training sessions are scheduled for 17 May and 7 June and will be held at ABTA's Office, 30 Park Street, London, SE1 9EQ.

Members who are interested in attending should register their interest by emailing destinations@abta.co.uk providing their organisations name, ABTA number and the name of the delegate who will attend.
