ABTA's A Beginner's Guide to Travel Law Workshop took place earlier this month and was sponsored by ABTA Partner, asb law. The day-long workshop presented the essentials of travel law to delegates as well as providing an update on recent case rulings and new regulations coming into effect.

Rebecca Thornley-Gibson, Head of Travel at asb law, “We always enjoy engaging with delegates at ABTA’s events, both during the presentations where everyone gets involved in debating industry concerns as a group, and in break times when we follow up with individual queries. This year’s event coincided with the significant judgment in the Jet2 Denied Boarding case as well as the introduction of new consumer contracts regulations. Drinks at the end of the session (and to celebrate the World Cup opening ceremony) were well deserved and welcomed by all.”

Our A Beginner's Guide to Travel Law Workshop is an established annual event in ABTA's events calendar, and the date for next years event will be made available later in the year.
