All About ABTA - Online

All You Need To Know About ABTA - Online All about ABTA is an online training tool, free of charge to ABTA members and Travel Industry Partners which sets out to help people understand what being a Member of ABTA means and ABTA’s role as the travel industry’s largest and most important trade association. All About ABTA is split into five modules:

•One gives an overview of ABTA and its role, including the history of why it was formed almost 60 years ago.

•Two deals with ABTA setting and maintaining standards.

•Three and four focus on protecting customers including understanding when you are selling a package and when you are not.

•Module five covers the range of services and products available to ABTA members.

Each module has a short test at the end of it and those who have completed and passed all the modules will receive a certificate. The training will also count towards CPD points for Accredited Travel Professionals.  The training is available from 7 October at www.allaboutabta.com and has been developed by Travel Uni, one of ABTA’s Travel Industry Partners.  Vicki Wolf, Professional Development Manager at ABTA said:  “All About ABTA will help all our members have a through understanding of what it means to be an ABTA member, how best to protect your customers and the range of services that come with membership. The training is free to ABTA members and Travel Industry Partners.
