ABTA’s new social media video highlights how consumers can book with confidence through an ABTA Member

As part of its Book with Confidence campaign, ABTA has launched a new social media video to promote its tips and advice to consumers on booking a holiday.

The one-minute video lists ABTA’s 10 top tips for booking a holiday now, including using the expertise of an ABTA Member, booking a package holiday, booking early and checking Foreign Office travel advice, as well as advising that many companies are offering additional flexible booking policies.

The video is shared across ABTA’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels using #AbtaMemberTips. It is also supported with social media ads to reach people interested in booking travel. 

ABTA Members can share it on their own social media channels or post it by downloading branded and non-branded versions of the video on the ABTA website (abta.com/marketingtoolkit). Members have a choice to add their own logo to the video, which comes in a variety of formats to suit different social media channels. The video is also available on Youtube so Members can share the link to their own website or marketing channels.

ABTA Director of Communications, Graeme Buck, said:

“At a time when many people are eager to book a holiday but some are hesitant to do so, it is vital that we reassure them and provide information on how to book with confidence. This is a major focus of our work at the moment and we hope this latest video will engage people on social media and help them to plan and book a holiday. We will be sharing the video across our own channels and we encourage Members to share these assets on their channels too.”

This social media push follows the launch of ABTA’s web page for customers with top tips for booking with confidence this year.
