ABTA’s International Conference – Improving Health and Safety in Tourism Accommodation – 21 May 2019

For travellers, health and safety is a top priority and customer views are changing. In a recent ABTA consumer survey, the results showed that safety and security was the number one priority with 89% of consumers highlighting this as important or very important. 

ABTA’s ‘Improving Health and Safety in Tourism Accommodation Conference’ is taking place on 21 May in London. Attend to hear about emerging health and safety risks and get guidance on how to work with your suppliers. Learn how to meet your obligations as a travel provider and tackle new threats. Ensure you are working collaboratively to drive improvement in health and safety. You’ll have the chance to meet accommodation suppliers and ABTA Members from the UK and across the world. 

You will receive guidance in the following areas:

  • Emerging health and safety risks in tourism accommodation
  • Health and safety challenges
  • Risk management
  • Reputation management.

You will have the chance to participate in specialist break-out sessions with a choice of gas safety, fire safety, legionella and food hygiene management.
