ABTA reveals latest speaker for the 2012 Travel Convention in Turkey

With only three months to go until The 2012 Travel Convention, ABTA is delighted to reveal today the latest of the key speakers who will be appearing in Belek, Turkey. Graham Cooke CEO and founder of web analytics company QuBit, joins Kevin Sheehan CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line, Baroness Susan Greenfield the first female director of the Royal Institute, and leading consumer trend expert William Higham, who will all be giving their expert advice and views and how to attract and retain the consumers of today and the future in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Graham Cooke founded QuBit, a new breed of web analytics company, two years ago. The company approaches analytics from a customer perspective, with a complete focus on structuring data to create actionable results and drive business growth - arguably Big Data's trickiest challenge. Graham will explain how you can improve routes to market through having greater customer intelligence. He will provide advice for the travel sector as well as his experience gained from other industries on how to connect, harness and engage with customers to suit their ever evolving tastes, needs and expectations.

Kevin Sheehan CEO and President of Norwegian Cruise Line will discuss the importance of enhanced customer service initiatives in the midst of a tough economic climate. He will also touch upon his appearance on the US version of TV show ‘Undercover Boss’ and the customer service lessons learned. Sheehan’s personal philosophy of leading by example has allowed him to reinvigorate the organisation by opening lines of communication and creating a positive corporate culture.

Baroness Susan Greenfield CBE is a British scientist, writer and broadcaster, specialising in the physiology of the brain. In her Convention presentation, Susan will offer her thoughts on how the human brain has evolved to adapt to our environment, and how the screen culture of the 21st century is changing us in unprecedented ways. How will the next generation think and feel – and what will this mean for the travel industry of the future?

William Higham is one of Britain's leading consumer trend authorities.  He is an expert in interpreting research and a skilled predictor of change across a range of industries, William will talk about the customer of tomorrow, and how behavioural shifts will impact sales, marketing and creative departments moving forward. William will highlight what will or won’t work in tomorrow’s marketplace.
