ABTA relaunches its Business-to-Business scheme

Moves to two tier partnership scheme

ABTA today announces the relaunch and rebrand of its business-to-business Partner scheme. The rebranded scheme, which replaces the Travel Industry Partner scheme that ran successfully for over 15 years, now offers two tiers of partnership - ABTA Partner and ABTA Partner+. The changes follow growing demand from existing partners for additional marketing opportunities to communicate their broad range of services to ABTA Members.  The scheme also provides ABTA Members with a valuable business services network to source suppliers to help them run successful travel companies.

ABTA has introduced an additional tier to the partner scheme called Partner+. ABTA Partner+ members will receive an enhanced listing on abta.com and bespoke email marketing to ABTA Members. They will also receive banner advertising on abta.com worth £700, together with further advertising discounts on the site.

Both tiers of Partnership offer a wide range of benefits and the opportunity to be associated with the ABTA brand, one of the most recognised and respected brands in the country.¹ ABTA Members can benefit from free specialist advice from partners on a variety of industry issues and the provision of exclusive offers, products and services.

In addition to use of the logos, ABTA Partners receive free listings on abta.com, access to the ABTA Member Services team, listing in the ABTA handbook and priority sponsorship opportunities at ABTA events throughout the year. ABTA Partners also have access to the Members’ area on www.abta.com with its vast range of advice and guidance notes.

Mark Tanzer, ABTA Chief Executive said: “We’ve been listening to our Partners and they have a clear appetite for greater marketing opportunities to communicate to ABTA Members the wide range of discounts and exclusive services on offer. We are confident that the ABTA Partner and ABTA Partner+ scheme will meet that demand and strengthen the ties between ABTA partners and the wider ABTA Membership.”

The ABTA Partner scheme is open to all companies working within or offering services to the travel industry which are not eligible to become full ABTA Members. Existing Partners will receive communication about the changes this week, including the new logo and option to upgrade to Partner+.
