ABTA in the news - June round up

In June ABTA commented on a range of topics in the media on behalf of the industry. This included providing consumer advice on travelling to Turkey & Tunisia, the Air Traffic Control strikes in France, Air Passenger Rights and school holidays. ABTA worked with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) to show the cost of medical treatments abroad to those travelling uninsured and re-launched the balcony campaign highlighting the holidaymakers who risk their lives on balconies. ABTA featured on BBC Breakfast, Daybreak x3, Sky News, BBC TV Look East, BBC Radio 5 and Sky News Radio. In total ABTA received 510 print, broadcast and online mentions during the month.
