ABTA in the news - April round up

In April ABTA commented on a range of topics in the media. This included the coach incident in Alpe d’Huez, the uninsured couple in Spain whose baby was born prematurely and a family who were a victim of fraud when booking a villa. ABTA partnered with the NFIB, Action Fraud and Get Safe Online to launch the holiday booking fraud campaign highlighting the benefits of booking with a reputable travel company and the risks of booking directly with owners. This gained coverage on Daybreak, BBC Breakfast, Your Money and You and Yours amongst other media. In total ABTA received 1,534 print, broadcast and online mentions during the month.
