ABTA holds its first dedicated Customer Insights event

Following feedback from Members that they want to learn more about developing effective sales and marketing strategies, in response to evolving customer needs, ABTA is holding its first ever event focusing exclusively on customer insights. The Customer Insight in the Travel Industry conference, which is being held on 24 April at UK Chamber of Shipping in London Bridge will cover these issues.

The event, which already has more than 70 Members and travel industry representatives signed up to attend, will be chaired by Brian Weston, Director of Research and Insight from the Institute of Customer Service, and includes speakers from inside and outside the industry who will share best practice and offer practical guidance for delegates. Consumer behaviour is rapidly changing and the numerous advances in technology are disrupting the travel market. In the competitive world of travel, it is vital travel businesses use customer insight to personalise and customise services, understand and engage lucrative markets and secure long-term loyalty.
