ABTA to hold its first event on Group Travel

ABTA is holding its first event focusing exclusively on group travel and tours.

The group travel and tours market is growing and diversifying, from school and university trips to special interest groups, escorted tours, adventure trips, sporting activities and events.

The conference will highlight some of the unique issues you face when selling group travel. How can you embrace specialty markets? What are the health and safety risks relating to group travel? How do you cope with changing itineraries? How can you successfully manage group dynamics and mixed ability groups and improve the holiday experience?

The Conference will be moderated by Giles Hawke, Chief Executive of Cosmos, with contributions from ABTA, Travel Weekly, Contiki, Collette, Trafalgar, Kuoni, Travlaw, G Adventures and Wendy Wu Tours.

Around 70 Members will attend, including Managing Directors, Sales, Marketing and Operations Directors from specialist and mainstream tour operators.

The event will take place at DoubleTree by Hilton in London Victoria on 28 September.
