ABTA, The Travel Association, today announced the appointment of Katrina Cliffe to its Board of Directors.

Most recently, Ms. Cliffe was General Manager at American Express Global Business Travel, EMEA, responsible for corporate travel sales across Europe and the Middle East, having previously been General Manager, Global Corporate Payments, UK. Her professional background has been focused on credit card and consumer banking services, with Goldfish Bank Ltd, and Lloyds TSB.

Commenting on her appointment, ABTA Chairman, Noel Josephides, said: “We are delighted to welcome Katrina to the ABTA Board. Her knowledge of the corporate travel market and consumer finance will be invaluable to ABTA as we continue to develop our services to Members and to consumers. Her broad commercial experience will be especially relevant as we look to respond to the challenges of a rapidly changing industry.”
