ABTA’s UK Tourism and Leisure Committee is delighted to announce the venue for the fourth annual UK Tourism Brit Awards in 2011. Alvaston Hall Hotel, near Crewe has been chosen to host the event on Sunday 12 June 2011.

For the first time ABTA is sponsoring a Tourism in the Community Award and is inviting applications for the most inspiring initiative supporting the travel agent’s local community.
The winner will be recognised for its contribution to their local community. Are you an ambassador for your local community, do you get involved in local community issues? Are you working with local charities/ schools or providing services to the local community such as work experience placements? Do you work with other local businesses to tackle local community issues or raise funds for good causes?
