Here are the conditions of entry which apply to ABTA’s giveaway.  Please read them carefully, as they contain important information you should know.

Who’s running the competition?

The promoter is ABTA Ltd (551311) of 30 Park Street, London, SE1 9EQ, United Kingdom.

Information about the prize and how to enter form part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.  These conditions of entry may change from time to time without notice.

The entry period is from 09:00 Monday 31 May 2021 – 5pm Friday 30 July 2021

The competition is hosted on abta.com.

By participating in the competition participants are also subject to ABTA’s privacy notice, which can be found at ABTA’s privacy notice.

The conditions of entry are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts.

Can I enter?

This giveaway is open to entrants over 18 years of age in with a UK address. You won’t be eligible to take part if you, your immediate family (including parents, children, siblings, partner and grandparents) or housemates are directors, management, employees, officers or contractors of ABTA Ltd or its subsidiaries or parent or affiliated companies.

We will hold your name and submission until the end of the competition so we can pick and contact the winner. We will direct message you on the social media platform you entered on to inform you that you have won. 

You can enter the competition as many times as you like for the chance to be the winner. 

How do we pick the winner?

We will be selecting two winners at random from entrants who satisfy all of the entry requirements.

The random selection is final and no discussions will be entered into with any other persons.

ABTA reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct that is designed to jeopardise the fair conduct of the competition or is generally damaging to the reputation of ABTA, or has otherwise breached these conditions of entry (as determined by ABTA in its sole discretion).

ABTA can cancel or modify the giveaway if there are compelling technical or administrative reasons which we cannot control. If that happens, ABTA may select the winner(s) from all eligible entries received at that time.

What can I win?

One lucky person will win Apple Airpods Pro, worth £200 and a runner-up will win an Ultimate Ears Blast Bluetooth speaker worth £195.

How do I find out if I won?

We will contact the winners by Friday 13 August 2021 by direct messaging them on the platform they entered the competition. We’ll then sort out any details required for the prize with the winner such as asking for their home address to send their prize. By entering you confirm that you have no objections to us contacting you on social media, if you are the winner.

If you do win…

You can’t exchange the prize for cash, or ask us to give it to someone else.

We will use reasonable efforts to award the prize as described but if we are unable to do that, we may substitute it either for cash or another prize of comparable value, but we’ll decide which.

You are responsible for your use of the prize, including complying with any applicable instructions/terms and conditions of use.

Events may occur that render the competition itself, or the awarding of the prize, impossible due to reasons beyond the control of ABTA. Accordingly, ABTA may, in its absolute discretion, cancel, vary or amend the giveaway and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to ABTA as a result.

To the extent permitted by law, ABTA expressly excludes:            

• all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity;
• any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any entrant or winner in connection with this giveaway.

The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.

Entrants must not post photos that go against Twitter’s Rules or Instagram Community Guidelines or Facebook’s Community Standards. ABTA will also not accept entries that post pictures or captions that include nudity, share offensive language or encourage unacceptable animal welfare behaviours.
