Speakers

Moderator: Gill Harvey, CEO, School Travel Forum

Gill joined the School Travel Forum as CEO in 2015 to lead on strategy planning and advocating for the association.
The School Travel Forum was formed in 2002 to support their members to implement and maintain best in class health and safety systems, for the education sector. It is also the awarding body for the *LOtC QB for tour operators working in the schools and further education sector. The STF/LOtC QB has been recognised by the Department for Education and in their recent guidelines they strongly recommend  schools to look for the Quality Badge when choosing a tour operator to work with on any school visits. Gill has worked in several senior executive positions within the travel industry and understands the challenges for small to medium sized operators, particularly when implementing effective health and safety management procedures and is therefore delighted to work for an association that can help make an impact in this area. Gill is also a Trustee for the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom and the Chair of the CLOtC Audit Committee.
