About the event

Moderator: Clare Jenkinson, Senior Destinations & Sustainability Manager, ABTA 

Clare Jenkinson is Senior Destinations and Sustainability Manager at ABTA and leads the association’s sustainable tourism work. Clare supports travel companies and destinations on issues spanning the environment, human rights, community impact, animal welfare and accessibility. On animal welfare, Clare has driven widespread, international industry adoption of the ABTA Animal Welfare Guidelines and oversaw their recent revision. Clare is passionate about the role business can play in addressing global challenges in a commercially viable way and brings a wealth of international experience across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors including initiatives in Kenya, Ghana, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Clare has gained an MA in Physics from Oxford University and Distinction from Imperial College Business School’s Foundations of Leadership.
