About this webinar

This 75-minute webinar will look at the impact of COVID-19 prevention measures on tourism and accommodation sustainability work.

Led by Travelife and ABTA, get insight into the impact of COVID-19 on sustainable tourism. Hear the results from the recent COVID-19 accommodation member survey, where hotels were asked about the impact the pandemic was having on their sustainability work. Learn about the areas of concern including environmental, staff welfare and community, and what Travelife are already doing to help.

Explore the ways you can help mitigate risk in these areas including communicating to your customers about responsible travel and the importance of supporting destinations in the fight against Coronavirus.

Hear about the support available to ABTA Members in response to concerns about sustainability including The Better Places Programme and a roadmap for rebuilding travel and tourism.

Listen to a discussion with Preverisk, about finding the balance between health and safety and sustainability, the importance of education and finding sustainable initiatives in the current climate.

Submit your questions ahead of, or during the webinar, to be answered live by our expert speakers.
