#DreamItWithABTA – Terms and conditions

Here are the conditions of entry which apply to ABTA’s competition. Please read them carefully, as they contain important information you should know.

**Who’s running the competition?**

The promoter is ABTA Ltd (551311) of 30 Park Street, London, SE1 9EQ, United Kingdom.

Information about the prize and how to enter form part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry. These conditions of entry may change from time to time without notice.

The entry period is from 00:00 13 November 2023 to 23:59 26 November 2023.

The competition is hosted on Instagram.

By entering the competition participants are subject to ABTA’s privacy notice, which can be found at ABTA’s privacy notice.

These conditions of entry are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts.

**Can I enter?**

This prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age in UK only. You won’t be eligible to take part if you, your immediate family (including parents, children, siblings, partner and grandparents) or housemates are directors, managers, employees, officers or contractors of ABTA Ltd or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies.

**How do I enter?**

Entry is free, you don’t have to buy anything to enter or win.

For a chance to win, we want you to tell us your thoughts on “where to next?”. Or in other words what holiday are you dreaming of for 2024. It could be a particular destination like Venice, Peru or Dubai, or it could be a type of holiday like a cruise, bike riding in the mountains or a food tour.

To enter, you need to:

Like the influencer’s post on Instagram, either (@jayneytravels) or (@theheartstylist)
Comment on the post detailing what holiday you are dreaming of for 2024 and use the hashtag #DreamItWithABTA
Tag the influencer and tag us (@ABTAlovetravel)

After entering the competition, you will be entered into a prize draw to win ABTA Travel Money currency of the winner’s choice (choose from over 60 currencies worldwide).

**How do we pick the winners?**

We will pick 3 winners at random from entrants who have followed the competition rules and entered correctly, by meeting all the entry requirements. The random selection is final, and no discussions will be entered into with any other persons.

ABTA reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct that is designed to jeopardise the fair conduct of the competition or is generally damaging to the reputation of ABTA or has otherwise breached these conditions of entry (as determined by ABTA in its sole discretion).

ABTA can cancel or modify the prize draw if there are compelling technical or administrative reasons which we cannot control. If that happens, ABTA may select the winner(s) from all eligible entries received at that time.

**What can I win?**

There are three prizes up for grabs:

First prize - £300 of ABTA Travel Money currency of the winner’s choice (choose from over 60 currencies worldwide)
Second prize - £200 of ABTA Travel Money currency of the winner’s choice (choose from over 60 currencies worldwide)
Third prize - £100 of ABTA Travel Money currency of the winner’s choice (choose from over 60 currencies worldwide) day.

There will be only one prize per entrant.

**How do I find out if I won?**

We will contact the winners by Friday 3rd December by direct messaging them on their Instagram profile. We’ll then sort out any details required for the prize with the winners such as asking for their full name and email address to send them their prize. By entering you confirm that you have no objections to us contacting you by Instagram if you are a winner.

**If you do win …**

You can’t exchange the prize for cash or ask us to give it to someone else.

We will use reasonable efforts to award the prize as described but if we are unable to do that, we may substitute it either for cash or another prize of comparable value, but we’ll decide which.

You are responsible for your use of the prize, including complying with any applicable terms and conditions of use.

Events may occur that render the competition itself, or the awarding of the prize, impossible due to reasons beyond the control of ABTA. Accordingly, ABTA may, in its absolute discretion, vary or amend the prize draw and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to ABTA as a result.

To the extent permitted by law, ABTA expressly excludes:

all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity;
any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any entrant or winner in connection with this prize draw.

The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram.

Entrants posts must follow Instagram Community Guidelines to enter the competition. ABTA will not accept entries which post pictures or captions that include nudity, share offensive language or behaviour or go against ABTA’s Animal Welfare Guidelines.

Entrants can share the post to Facebook and X (previously known as Twitter) or other social media platforms but these will not be counted as entries to the competition.

If entrants share the competition on Facebook and Twitter, they must not share posts or photos that go against Twitter’s Rules or Facebook’s Community Standards.

By participating in this competition, ABTA has the right to contact you for user generated content.

**Personal information**

ABTA reserves the right to inform the winners of the prizes first and your entry confirms your consent to us making this announcement on our social media channels.
