Destinations to Watch competition - member terms and conditions

Here are the conditions of entry which apply to ABTA’s competition. Please read them carefully, as they contain important information you should know.
**Who’s running the competition?**
The promoter is ABTA Ltd (551311) of 30 Park Street, London, SE1 9EQ, United Kingdom.
Information about the prize and how to enter form part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry. These conditions of entry may change from time to time without notice.
The entry period is from 00:00 2 January 2024 to 23:59 4 January 2024.
The competition is hosted on the Facebook Members group.
By entering the competition participants are subject to ABTA’s privacy notice, which can be found at ABTA’s privacy notice.
These conditions of entry are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts.
**Can I enter?**
This prize draw is open to ABTA member entrants over 18 years of age in UK only.
**How do I enter?**
Entry is free, you don’t have to buy anything to enter or win.
Each day from 2 January to 4 January 2024, there will be chance to enter the competition. For a chance to win, we want you to guess the destination photos for the competition. If guessed correctly (we require one correct guess) you will be entered into a prize draw to win.
To enter, you need to:
- Like The ABTA Member community Facebook competition post.
- Comment on the post with what you think the destination of the pixelated image is.
If guessed correctly, you will be entered into a prize draw to win a free place at a UK-based ABTA conference or training event in 2024 – this is excluding ABTA’s convention.
The Prize covers the event fee for one person to attend an ABTA event of their choice (subject to availability, early booking is recommended as events often sell out).
ABTA will not cover any additional cost associated with the event such as travel or accommodation costs.
ABTA events include ABTA one and two-day conferences as well as ABTA training days, but not ABTA’s Travel Convention.

**How do we pick the winners?**
We will pick one winner at random from entrants who have followed the competition rules and entered correctly, by meeting all the entry requirements. The random selection is final, and no discussions will be entered into with any other persons.
ABTA reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct that is designed to jeopardise the fair conduct of the competition or is generally damaging to the reputation of ABTA or has otherwise breached these conditions of entry (as determined by ABTA in its sole discretion).
ABTA can cancel or modify the prize draw if there are compelling technical or administrative reasons which we cannot control. If that happens, ABTA may select the winner(s) from all eligible entries received at that time.
**What can I win?**
Win a free place at a UK-based ABTA conference or training event in 2024.

**How do I find out if I won?**
We will contact the winners by Thursday, 11 January 2024 by direct messaging them on their Facebook profile. We’ll then sort out any details required for the prize with the winners such as asking for their full name and email address to send them their prize.
By entering you confirm that you have no objections to us contacting you by Facebook if you are a winner.
**If you do win …**
You can’t exchange the prize for cash or ask us to give it to someone else.
We will use reasonable efforts to award the prize as described.
You are responsible for your use of the prize, including complying with any applicable terms and conditions of use. The ABTA event booking terms and conditions can be accessed here. Please note, clause 8.3-8.5 is not applicable.
Events may occur that render the competition itself, or the awarding of the prize, impossible due to reasons beyond the control of ABTA. Accordingly, ABTA may, in its absolute discretion, vary or amend the prize draw and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to ABTA as a result.
To the extent permitted by law, ABTA expressly excludes:
* All conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.
* Any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any entrant or winner in connection with this prize draw.
The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
Entrants posts must follow Facebook Community Guidelines to enter the competition.
ABTA will not accept entries which post pictures or captions that include nudity, share offensive language or behaviour or go against ABTA’s Animal Welfare Guidelines.
**Personal information**
ABTA reserves the right to inform the winner of the prize first and your entry confirms your consent to us making this announcement on our social media channels.
