See you at the ABTA lounge at World Travel Market

We’re looking forward to getting together with members, Partners and colleagues from destinations at the World Travel Market (WTM) from 6-8 November. It always proves to be a great opportunity to connect, as well as develop knowledge and discuss important issues for the industry.

Once again ABTA will have a lounge, and we’ll also be hosting an exclusive business briefing event for members and Partners only, at lunchtime on Monday 6 November. At the event you’ll get a rundown of the findings from ABTA’s latest Holiday Habits report and hear how to make the most of the ABTA brand to boost your business. Very importantly, lunch will be provided too! Spaces are limited so please register in advance here.

Elsewhere at WTM, ABTA’s Director of Public Affairs, Luke Petherbridge, will be taking part in a panel about travel post-Brexit. This is a focus of our lobbying work, as we engage governments at home and overseas on some of the challenges businesses are facing, in particular, employing UK staff in EU countries.

We’ll also be taking the opportunity to meet with Ministers from overseas destinations popular with UK tourists. These meetings are always very productive in terms of further developing relationships with important destination stakeholders and representing members by raising any queries or matters affecting UK tourists.

If you are attending WTM this year, then please come along to see us at the lounge. If you can’t make WTM then there are plenty of opportunities to catch up with ABTA, details of which can be found here
