I am delighted to announce that registration for this year’s Travel Convention is now open, and I would strongly urge you to book early to take advantage of the lowest registration fees and airfares. This year, the Convention takes place on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, from 10-12 October and our Convention partner, Etihad Airways, is offering delegates preferential return airfares to/from Abu Dhabi from 1-20 October, so you can take the opportunity to extend your stay.

The Travel Convention is the chance for our Members, the wider industry and key travel journalists to come together to understand what lies ahead and to shape the travel industry of tomorrow. 2015 was a momentous year for travel and 2016 looks set to follow suit. As well as tumultuous global events which are impacting our industry, this summer will bring the outcome of the EU Referendum. In times like these, how you seize the future is of paramount importance and our Travel Convention sessions will provide insight and practical tips as we explore the future of our industry.

On arrival, delegates will enjoy two days of stimulating business sessions as well as a wide range of networking opportunities and social events. The business sessions will be built around four pillars, Our World, Our Industry, Your Business and Your Network. We will be based in the iconic Yas Viceroy – the first hotel in the world to be built over a Formula 1 race circuit – which will offer an ideal showcase for this incredible location. There are some spectacular facilities in close proximity including Yas Waterworld, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Marina, Yas Beach and the Grand Mosque.
