Getting your views on the PTR review

Last month the Government launched its consultation on the review of the Package Travel Regulations (PTRs), outlining its views and direction of travel.

While the Government’s press release at the time focused heavily on domestic holidays, there is much which relates to both domestic and overseas travel.

Engaging with Department for Business and Trade on the PTRs review is a priority for ABTA, and we will draw on our expertise across public affairs, legal and financial protection to pull together our response.

But most of all we’ll be looking for views from ABTA members about what the proposals would mean for your businesses and what you think would be sensible approach.

To help gather your feedback we’ll be holding a series of workshops, bringing together members, ABTA and representatives from the Department of Business. All members are welcome to attend; not only will you get to share your views with us to inform our response to the consultation, but you’ll also get to speak directly with the Government officials involved in the review.

As well as the workshops, we’ll also be carrying out a survey of members, which will be sent in the next couple of weeks.
