The complaint compensation offered in money is less than I was offered in vouchers, why?

It's normal practise to offer you a higher compensation value in vouchers, than in monetary value. This is because the travel company would like to prove that your experience is not typical of the products and services that it offers.

Should you want monetary compensation then it would almost definitely be for a lesser amount.

Consider vouchers as they are most likely to be of a greater value than cash.
