ABTA in the news - May round up

In May ABTA commented on a range of topics in the media on behalf of the industry. This included providing consumer advice on travelling with special needs and commenting on the use of EHIC’s in Spain, the Bank Holiday Getaway, a drowning incident in Egypt, airport charges and holiday pricing whilst away such as expensive ice creams in Rome. ABTA featured on BBC Breakfast, BBC Watchdog, BBC Radio 4 You & Yours and Moneybox and Don’t get done in the Sun. In total ABTA received 650 print, broadcast and online mentions during the month.
