ABTA brings together education bodies and industry to discuss early careers in travel

Changing market behaviours and the introduction of new technologies are presenting the travel industry with both challenges and opportunities.

Finding people with the right skills is key to supporting the rapid changes and growth of the travel industry. Businesses must ensure they are attracting, nurturing and retaining talented individuals. This means finding new talent, maximising existing potential and embracing change through the right resources.

To highlight this crucial issue, ABTA is bringing together travel businesses, colleges and universities at its first ‘Future Talent in the Travel Industry’ conference on 27 June 2017.

The conference will be held at Grant Thornton’s offices in Finsbury Square, Central London and will look at the latest travel trends and how these will impact the workforce, training and education.

The event will be moderated by Vicki Wolf, Education Partnerships Manager, ABTA and will feature contributions from event partner, Grant Thornton and media partner TTG Media. Speakers also include leading travel industry employers, Hays Travel and TUI UK & Ireland, along with universities specialising in tourism including Bournemouth University and University of Surrey.

A few places remain for this event, register your place now to avoid disappointment.
