ABTA Board nominations close

The nominations for vacancies on the ABTA Board closed yesterday, March 18th.  Noel Josephides of Sunvil was re-elected in the category of Principal with annual turnover below £50million. 

In the Retail category, there were three nominations who will now go to the vote.  Ballot papers will be sent out to Members in the Retail category next week and the closing date for votes is 15 April.  The nominations are Daniele Broccoli of Britaly Travel, who is currently on the Board, Doreen McKenzie of Knock Travel and Sandy Murray of Sandy Travel.

Following the AGM on April 29 the President, Justin Fleming will step down after three years at the helm.  ABTA welcomes candidates for President, who must be proposed and seconded by current Board Members.

On the ABTA Council of Regions, Bridget Keevil of Travel Stop, Roddie MacPhee of Stewart Travel Centre, Heather Fielding of Gallagher Travel and David Powell of Holidays Your Way were re-elected. Sandy Murray of Sandy Travel was elected and two vacancies remain in the Southern and South Western Regions.
