ABTA has been informed that Freedom Direct Holidays Ltd (ABTA Number: F5038 & Y0535) of 6 Park Road, Gosforth Business Park, South Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE12 8DG,  which also traded as Freedom Direct, holidaysyoulike.co.uk, holidaysyoulike.com, hotsunholidays.co.uk, snowdeals.co.uk has ceased trading today, 16 April 2009. 

The company was a tour operator holding ATOL licence number 9740. Customers who have booked holidays under that ATOL number should submit a claim to the Civil Aviation Authority. Full details of how to do this can be found on www.atol.org.uk or email claims@cpg.org.uk.

The company also acted as a retail travel agent and customers should contact the supplier of their travel arrangements shown on their booking documentation.
