In its submission to the EFRA Committee ABTA supported the intention of the Animals Abroad Bill in relation to the sale of tickets in the UK to attractions which involve activities like riding or bathing with elephants. ABTA also highlighted its own commitments to animal welfare in the UK and the global travel industry over the past decade.
